Small Farm Living|DIY Property Planning Tool

NRM North’s Small Farm Living Program provides tailored information and support to owners of small properties in Northern Tasmania.

As a regional natural resource management (NRM) organisation working with community groups, landholders and industry partners, NRM North recognised a gap in information, events and support for smallholders, with most NRM field days, publications and grant programs tailored to commercial farmers. After consulting with smallholders in northern Tasmania about their needs, the Small Farm Living program was launched in 2013.

In the Program’s 10th year, the previous Small Farm Living Property Planning booklets were re-imagined into the DIY Property Planning online tool.

Your information and privacy

The DIY Property Planning Tool is provided by NRM North, supported through funding from the Australian Government’s National Landcare Program. The tool and your resulting property plan and action plan are for your use and are not intended to collect information for NRM North or the Australian Government.

The locality (by town/district) and property size of users will be recorded in order to track how much the online tool is being used, and will not be associated with any other information entered by you, or used for any other purpose.

You may elect to provide contact details to enable NRM North staff to contact you for the purpose of evaluating the DIY Property Planning tool. This information will not be associated with your property information and will not be used for any other purpose.
